All Ozeano Blue Light glasses are made to order by our premium Optical partner in Sydney - VSP Optics.
We use TechShield Blue technology - an anti-reflective coating that helps combat digital eye strain. TechShield Blue targets blue light wavelengths associated with digital eye strain (400-430nm), reducing exposure by as much as 85% at its peak.
TechShield Blue has an attractive, near-clear appearance when not in the presence of blue light, and eliminates harsh reflections from the lens surface.
Scientific research has linked the effects of excessive blue light exposure to the onset of digital eye strain in as little as two hours of exposure. And according to The Vision Council, more than half of the population experience symptoms:

What is Blue Light?
Blue light is a range of light that contains the highest amount of energy in the visible light spectrum. Light wavelengths are measured in nanometers (nm). Blue light resides in the range from 400-500nm.

Why Does Blue Light Cause Eye Strain?
When blue light enters the eye, it scatters before reaching the retina. Our eyes work overtime trying to focus this scattered light, which they cannot do. Depending on brightness, this out-of-focus blue light can appear as glare. The more blue light in the environment, the greater the glare.

Frame: Italian Mazuchelli 1849 - 100% plant-based, free of BPA/phalates and certified biodegradable in industrial conditions. Frames have a premium feel compared to traditional plastic and greater flexibility. Lightweight and comfortable.
You can adjust the frames with heat to curve or widen to fit.
Lenses: Columbian Resin-39 Polarised - the purest material and closest to mineral glass in terms of transparency and clarity of vision with zero distortion. Certified category 3, UV400 with 100% protection from UV rays. Anti-glare, anti-smudge and anti-scratch. These lenses are the best on the market and will not peel.
Hinge: Stainless steel 5 barrel hinge system and screws

We offer FREE Express post shipping on orders over $130. For orders under $130 we offer flat rate $9.95 express post, same day shipping (before 2pm) via Australia Post. You should expect to receive your goods within 1 - 3 business days within Australia.
Taxes are included in the product price.
We currently ship international orders by standard courier for a flat rate of AUD $9.95. Please allow 5-14 days for international orders.
Returns
There's no need to stress about picking the right colour or style, we know you can have a change of heart when you see something in person. That's why we offer returns within 60 days on all Ozeano eyewear.
Please reuse the mailer we send your items in, to reduce plastic waste. Exchanges are free of charge. For change of mind returns you will just need to pay for return shipping (often $9 within Australia) and we don't charge a restocking fee.

Ozeano uses TerraCycle Zero Waste Boxes to recycle your old eyewear.
When you wish to replace your sunnies, email info@ozeano.com.au. We will send you a pre paid label to send your sunnies back for proper recycling, along with a $15 voucher to go towards your next pair.
We have a zero-plastic policy along our supply chain but when a customer sends us something in plastic mailers, we also recycle via TerraCycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
If properly looked after, our sunglasses can easily last 3-5 years or more! Make sure to keep them in the pouch and case as much as possible, and clean them after getting salt water on them.
Orders within Australia will generally arrive within 5-7 days, and overseas orders may take between 7-14 days to arrive. This is just a guideline and certain circumstances may effect these times.
Our sunglasses are stocked here in Queensland, Australia. Orders placed before 5pm will be shipped the next day, and all orders placed on a Friday or weekend will be posted on Mondays.
We offer FREE standard shipping on all Australian orders! Express shipping is $9.95

All of our lenses offer UV400 A/B protection. 'UV400' refers to UV rays at the top end of the UV spectrum, up to the 400-nanometre wavelength. Our lenses block 100% of these UV rays, which provides you with the most possible protection you can get.
All our sunglasses have Category 3 lenses which are best for daytime driving conditions — any higher is considered too dark to drive safely. They are also polarised which reduces the glare!
This is why we offer our Free Home Try-On service! If they don't suit you and you have used this feature you can simply return them for free :)
Our sunglasses are backed by a 90 day warranty. If you break them, we replace them! Please view our warranty section to view the terms and conditions.

Our sunglasses are made from a material called cellulose acetate, which derives from wood pulp!
It is renewable, and much better for the environment than traditional plastic sunglasses which derive from fossil fuels.
