All Ozeano Blue Light glasses are made to order by our premium Optical partner in Sydney - VSP Optics.
We use TechShield Blue technology - an anti-reflective coating that helps combat digital eye strain. TechShield Blue targets blue light wavelengths associated with digital eye strain (400-430nm), reducing exposure by as much as 85% at its peak.
TechShield Blue has an attractive, near-clear appearance when not in the presence of blue light, and eliminates harsh reflections from the lens surface.
Scientific research has linked the effects of excessive blue light exposure to the onset of digital eye strain in as little as two hours of exposure. And according to The Vision Council, more than half of the population experience symptoms:

- Tired Eyes
- Watery Eyes
- Blurred Vision
It is important to avoid cheap imitation blue light lenses from places like newsagencies, bargain shops and even pharmacies. A poor quality lens can actually do much more damage than good as it distorts your clarity of vision and may increase the above symptoms drastically.

What is Blue Light?
Blue light is a range of light that contains the highest amount of energy in the visible light spectrum. Light wavelengths are measured in nanometers (nm). Blue light resides in the range from 400-500nm.

Why Does Blue Light Cause Eye Strain?
When blue light enters the eye, it scatters before reaching the retina. Our eyes work overtime trying to focus this scattered light, which they cannot do. Depending on brightness, this out-of-focus blue light can appear as glare. The more blue light in the environment, the greater the glare.

Featuring a robust custom wire core, double-wired Italian-made hinging system with teflon-coated screws, and Australian-made stainless steel 'Ozeano' logo label, the frame is designed and built to last - no more loosening or rusting over time.
Each frame comes with a free pouch and cleaning cloth made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton.
The one-size ergonomic design provides a comfortable fit for all head shapes and sizes.
All Ozeano products are PETA-approved vegan, and our sunglasses meet Australian / New Zealand AS/NZS 1067:2003 standards, offering category 3 lenses with good UV protection and high level of sun glare reduction.
Ozeano frame material is BPA/phthalate-free, contains no oil and is 100% biodegradable according to ISO 14855 standard (verified by the Belgian Organic Waste System institute) in 115 days, if buried in compost conditions.

We offer same day dispatch for orders before 2pm. We express post every domestic package via Australia Post for a flat rate of $10. You should expect to receive your goods within 1 - 3 business days within Australia.
We ship international orders for a flat rate of $20 world wide. Please allow 10-20 days for international orders.
Returns
There's no need to stress about picking the right colour or style, we know you can have a change of heart when you see something in person. That's why we offer returns within 60 days on all Ozeano eyewear.
Please reuse the mailer we send your items in, to reduce plastic waste. You will need to pay for return shipping (this is normally less than $10 Australia wide) and we don't charge a restocking fee.
